000 ABNT20 KNHC 042320 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Wed Sep 4 2019 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Dorian, located a little over 100 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina, on Tropical Depression Fernand, located inland over eastern Mexico, and on Tropical Storm Gabrielle, located several hundred miles northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. A small area of low pressure located about 200 miles northeast of Bermuda is producing showers and thunderstorms well to the southeast of the center. Only a small decrease in the upper level winds could result in the formation of a tropical depression in the next day or so. However, by Saturday upper-level winds are forecast to increase even further, making conditions unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent. A tropical wave along the coast of Africa will begin to move over the eastern Atlantic tonight. 000 ABNT20 KNHC 041752 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 200 PM EDT Wed Sep 4 2019 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Dorian, located about 100 miles northeast of Daytona Beach Florida, on Tropical Storm Fernand, located just inland along the coast north of La Pesca Mexico, and on Tropical Storm Gabrielle, located several hundred miles west-northwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. A small area of low pressure located about 150 miles northeast of Bermuda has become a little better defined today, but the thunderstorm activity remains disorganized. Further development of this disturbance is possible, and a tropical depression could form during the next couple of days as the disturbance moves northeastward away from Bermuda. By Saturday, upper-level winds are forecast to become unfavorable for tropical cyclone formation. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...60 percent. A tropical wave along the coast of Africa is forecast to emerge over the eastern Atlantic later today. 000 ABPZ20 KNHC 041710 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1100 AM PDT Wed Sep 4 2019 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Juliette, located several hundred miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. The National Hurricane Center also initiated advisories on Tropical Depression Twelve-E this morning. The system has already moved into the central Pacific basin and future advisories will be issued by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center. Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days. && The first Public Advisory on Tropical Depression Twelve-E was issued under WMO header WTPZ32 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPEP2. Future Public Advisories on the depression will be issued by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center beginning at 11 am HST under WMO header WTPA33 PHFO, and AWIPS header HFOTCPCP3. The first Forecast/Advisory on Tropical Depression Twelve-E was issued under WMO header WTPZ22 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCMEP2. 730 ABPZ20 KNHC 041156 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 AM PDT Wed Sep 4 2019 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Juliette, located several hundred miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Satellite data indicate that a small area of low pressure has formed in the far southwestern portion of the eastern Pacific about 1100 miles east-southeast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The associated shower and thunderstorm activity has quickly become better organized overnight and a tropical depression could be forming. If recent development trends continue, advisories could be initiated on this system later today or tonight. The system will be moving into the Central Pacific basin this morning.
