Hugo Boss trims FY outlook amid US challenges

German fashion group Hugo Boss has confirmed its outlook for the full year, but says sales and earnings are likely to be at the lower end of its forecast as it faces "persisting challenges" in the US market.

Veon raises dividend as H1 results track ahead of FY growth outlook

(Telecompaper) Veon reported second-quarter results ahead of its full-year outlook. Organic revenues rose 7.5 percent, and adjusted EBITDA was up 11.1 percent, compared to a forecast for low single-digit growth in revenue and low to mid single-digit growth in EBITDA. The growth was supported mainly by the operations in Pakistan and Ukraine, offsetting flat results in Russia and declines in Algeria and Uzbekistan.

Conditions could become marginally conducive for development over the weekend while the system turns and accelerates northeastward off the southeastern U.S. coast. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent. A broad low pressure system located about 900 miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
