During its annual dinner and auction in Orlando, FL, Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance Foundation raised over $93,500. Record number of attendees bid on items ranging from advertising packages to electronics at the event, which was held in conjunction with the FPSA Annual Meeting and Conference. Foundation will be awarding seven $5,000 scholarships to students studying meat sciences at universities across the country. Students will be able to apply through May 1st of 2014.
