Sheridan tax rate tumbles 24 percent

Property owners in the town of Sheridan will see a significant drop in their town tax bills next year - a 24 percent drop to be exact. The rate is expected to decrease to $4.02 per thousand dollars of assessed value, down from the current rate of $5.26, now that the Sheridan Town Board approved its 2015 budget during a recent meeting.

Ritchey, D.P.T., of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , Atlanta, and colleagues examined the contributions of heart disease subtypes to overall heart disease mortality trends during 2000-2010. The study appears in the November 19 issue of JAMA , a cardiovascular disease theme issue.
