Ketchup maker Heinz has refused to comment on reports it is planning a "major expansion" at one of its Polish factories. According to Polish newswire, Puls Biznesu , Heinz has applied for a government grant of "almost PLN200m " for investment into its Pudliszki-brand product factory in western Poland.

The public comment period opened Tuesday for Helis Oil & Gas Co's revised application for a wetlands permit and water quality certification for its controversial proposal to drill an exploratory vertical well on undeveloped property near Mandeville.
