A Ground Systems Engineer with previous experience in system virtualisation is being recruited by Astrium in Portsmouth. You will work in a team within the Ground Systems department and deliver high profile projects for the European Space Agency or the United Kingdom Space Agency as well as on Research and Development to address the future ground systems challenges. The Ground System department offer a unique opportunity to develop IT skills and gain experience into the space domain. It is important that the candidates are autonomous and multi task on different projectsRDs in the same time. The candidate will be involved around 70 of their time on projects to gain relevant and consistent experiences in accordance with their career plan. 30 of their time will be allocated to RD, Innovation, Continuous Training or Business Acquisition activities in accordance with the successful applicants profile.
