U-Line Corp. to be purchased by a The Middleby Corp.

The Middleby Corp. announced that it plans to buy Brown Deer-based U-Line Corp., which makes residential built-in modular ice making, refrigeration and wine preservation equipment, for an undisclosed amount from private equity firm Linsalata Capital Partners of Ohio. "U-Line has an outstanding reputation and provides a strong strategic addition to our growing residential platform," said Selim Bassoul , chairman and chief executive officer of the Middleby Corp. Bassoul said the company is planning a fourth quarter launch of a fully redesigned and expanded lineup of new products at U-Line.
