Non-Contact Inspection Tool is designed for extruder bores.
2013-09-05 14:30:33| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Using non-contact internal inspection to detect wear in bores, idiamCONTROL permits planning of maintenance or replacement intervals of individual extruder housing parts. Sensor unit, with integrated capacitive sensors arranged opposite each other, measures diameter of bore. By turning cross rollers by 40° clockwise or counter-clockwise, bore can be measured in 6 tracks altogether. Touchscreen displays measuring results graphically, and results can be saved/exported via USB interface. Micro Extruder suits medical fluoropolymer applications.
2013-08-23 14:27:47| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Featuring reduction in minimum output rate and minimized residence time in barrel to help reduce thermal degradation, 16 mm micro extruder is used to process fluoropolymers for miniature medical device applications such as fine wire jacketing for neuromodulation, microdialysis tubing, and neonatal intravenous catheter tubing. These applications typically require extruder capable of processing high performance fluoropolymers (ETFE, PFA, FEP) at volumes down to 3.4 g/min (.45 lb/hr). Compact Extruder Combination has piggyback configuration.
2013-07-29 14:29:43| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Addressing use of recycled materials in window main profile production, conEX 63 P conserves space by mounting conical extruder in piggyback configuration on twinEX 78-34P. These 2 counter-rotating, twin-screw extruders achieve combined output of ~500 kg/h, and frame design affords flexibility for die changes. Operating with AC motors, extruders have common control cabinet, can be operated via common control panel, and feature self-optimizing Intracool screw core tempering system.
