Featuring table-top design, Model PTSE 12/36 EC allows user to develop small scale formulations for hot melt extrusion. Unit features 12 mm co-rotating screws housed in 36:1 barrel length, and 2.4 kW drive with max torque of 30 Nm and speed range of 1–600 rpm. System can process usual pellet size of 1.5 x 1.5 mm or granular/powder materials. Split horizontally, barrel allows access to all parts in contact with material, while removable barrel liner facilitates cleaning and sterilization.
