Electrical Power Supply System Engineer for MTG Key Tasks and Responsibilities Our customer is a European leader in exciting and technologically sophisticated projects in the areas of space transportation and satellites. Your tasks will include Act as single point of contact to customer contractor regarding the Electrical Power Subsystem EPS engineering at MTGS satellite level Coordinate EPS performance and IF commonality between MTGS and MTGI satellites Continue finalise MTGS satellite level EPS design based on Phase B2 results and BDR PDR findings and recommendations Maintain update the EPS design documentation as part of the overall MTGS Satellite Technical Description Maintain update the EPS design justification as part of the MTGS Satellite Design Justification Document Maintain the detailed power and energy budget at MTGS satellite level to demonstrate system viability during all mission phases Demonstrate adequacy of MTGS EPS architecture by analysis simulation Maintain update the voltage drop analysis based on simulations to ensure that the selected EPS design will meet the requirements regarding voltage drops in power harnesses and interfaces Perform the verification programme for the integrated EPS being compliant with the agreed Subsystem Verification and Test Plan Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience with European space projects Experience with power supply systems Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an advantage. The general task of the Key Person will be to provide support and advice to the GEO Configuration, Documentation and Information Manager as Configuration Management Engineer.
