Man whose body was found under Wantagh LIRR platform likely not hit by train, MTA says

A man whose body was found underneath a platform Sunday at the Wantagh Long Island Rail Road station did not have injuries consistent with being struck by a train, MTA police said. Salvatore Arena, a spokesman for the LIRR, said Metropolitan Transportation Authority police think they know the man's identity and are attempting to notify next of kin before releasing his name.
