We are currently looking for an Information Management Consultant to support our customer in Germany. Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the consultancy to GEO and LEO Programme development for all aspects of information management implementation you will have the following responsibilities Manage technical programme information according to existing working practices and procedures Support updating of InformationDocumentation Management Plans, procedures, and working practices as necessary Contribute to a registry of information items Contribute to establishing an internal metadata reference for the classification of information items generated in programmes Contribute to defining and regularly providing IM Metrics and Key Performance Indicators Report on issues in using IM Tools and possible improvements, proposing related requirements and supporting their verification. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in InformationKnowledge Management Professional experience in a technical, archivist, or librarian role Management systems for technical information and documentation Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles Draftingreviewing documentationinformation management plans, working practices and procedures Applying information, documentation or configuration management processes Use of tools for electronic documentation, information, configuration management or electronic workflow Implementing document management processes Proficient knowledge of use of MSOffice, MSAccess, Acrobat and scanning methodology Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
