Boil Water notice issued for City of Overton

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required The City of Overton to relay a boil water notice, posted at 8:05 a.m. Sunday, to their residents. According to the City's website, loss of power at one of their water wells created low water pressure.

City of Troup issues boil water notice

Due to a water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required our water system, the City of Troup Public Water Supply ID 2120003 to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is due to possible loss of pressure in the water distribution system from the eight inch water main break.

Water quality issues on Prescott City Council agenda

First, the Prescott City Council will consider approving a settlement agreement with Arizona Department of Environmental Quality connected to total maximum daily loads at Watson Lake. The latest pollution problems at Watson Lake go back to at least 2004, when the state listed the lake on its Impaired Waters List as impaired, based on 2002-03 sample results for total nitrogen, dissolved oxygen and pH.

City of Mount Vernon issues boil water notice

Due to low system pressure as a result of low water levels, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required our water system, the City of Mount Vernon/800001, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use.

City of Tyler issues water quality notice
