Black-Body Coating suits applications to 2,000°F.

Demonstrating emissivity greater than 0.90 at temperatures to 2,000°F, HiE-Coat™ 840-M has been formulated for metal surfaces such as stainless steel. Jet-black, water-dispersed, ceramic coating is used for gas-fired burners to optimize thermal efficiency of commercial and consumer appliances, industrial ovens, and furnaces. Applied by sponge brush, roller, or spray equipment, VOC-free coating provides coverage rate of approximately 360 ft²/gallon based on 2 ml dry film thickness.
