The plant has been operating since 2005 and has a capacity of up 1.3 million tonnes of bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp. "Thanks to the efforts of all workers involved in the company's productive chain we were able to produce 20% over the mill's original capacity in a sustainable manner and with 100% of certified wood," said Veracel's industrial operation director, Ari Medeiros.
