Associated Press: A federal judge has granted the Standing Rock Sioux tribe`s request to temporarily stop work on some, but not all of a portion of the $3.8 billion Dakota Access Pipeline to safeguard cultural sites in North Dakota. Information released by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said that if the stoppage happens there will be no passenger train service in New Jersey. Sen. Mark Begich has asked Gov. Sean Parnell to assist in resolving the work stoppage at Usibelli Coal's dock operations at the Seward Coal Loading Facility. The facility has ceased operations since the 9th Circuit Court ruled the facility may be in violation of the Clean Water Act.
