This is an opportunity for a a university graduated engineer, with at least 5 years experience in the ProductQuality Assurance area in AerospaceSpace Programmes to support our customer in the quality assurance of the MTG programme. This position is full time and unlimited and fully based on customer side in EUMETSAT, Darmstadt, Germany. The position will start earliest November 2015. Submission deadline for applicants is 7thth of September 2015. RESPONSIBILITIESDUTIES The Key Person will be part of the MTG QA Team which provides support to the MTG Programme. Herhis tasks will be allocated in support of the MTG Ground Segment activities, including Ground Segment and System IVV, monitoring of IVV QA related activities and witnessing tests of facilities, in accordance with the plan and priorities assigned by the GEO QA Manager and the MTG GS QA Engineer. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE A University degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences or a related discipline is required. The Key Person shall have at least 5 years of specific work experience in the ProductQuality Assurance area in AerospaceSpace Programmes, and have good interpersonal and mediation skills. Specific experience on PAQA processes on satellite Ground Segments, satellite Mission Control and Operations, and on Satellite data processing will be considered an advantage.
