Major Avenue, at the Lily Pond Avenue intersection in Arrochar, was renamed "Officer Thomas Choi Avenue" in honor of fallen Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bridges and Tunnels Officer Thomas Choi. He is the first Bridges and Tunnels Authority Officer to have a street renamed after him.
