We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer Solar Arrays to support our customer in Germany. Mechanical Engineer Solar Arrays Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Design Development Team, you will have the following responsibilities Critically assess consistency between the solar generator mechanical design, operational performance and the system requirements Contribute to the functional specifications of solar generator equipment and assemblies Generate the validation plan Preparation, execution and evaluation of mechanical tests at the level of the solar generator and its components Support the selection and architectural design of solar generator subassemblies and components. Ascertain consistency between their design, integration and validation phases Support the technical progress of solar generator subassemblies and components through the development and production. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent Professional experience as mechanical engineer, preferably in the area of solar arrays Experience working on space projects beneficial Familiarity with the project lifecycle, from requirements definition to integration, verification validation Experience in requirements management considered an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German advantageous. Regulators hearing arguments on 'grandfathering' solar users

Nevada regulators are set to hear arguments on whether existing rooftop solar customers should be "grandfathered" into lower rates instead of paying higher ones approved before the new year. The Nevada Public Utilities Commission scheduled a hearing on the matter for Monday.

Alberta sets up US$3.6 million fund to kick-start solar demand
