Mechanical Engineer Solar Arrays Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Design Development Team, you will have the following responsibilities Critically assess consistency between the solar generator mechanical design, operational performance and the system requirements Contribute to the functional specifications of solar generator equipment and assemblies Generate the validation plan Preparation, execution and evaluation of mechanical tests at the level of the solar generator and its components Support the selection and architectural design of solar generator subassemblies and components. Ascertain consistency between their design, integration and validation phases Support the technical progress of solar generator subassemblies and components through the development and production. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent Experience working on space projects is mandatory to be considered Professional experience as mechanical engineer, preferably in the area of solar arrays Familiarity with the project lifecycle, from requirements definition to integration, verification validation Experience in requirements management considered an advantage Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of German advantageous.
