Advocates for rooftop solar installations say a bill that passed the Nevada Legislature this spring may not have settled a dispute they're having with NV Energy after all. The Alliance for Solar Choice is asking the Nevada Public Utilities Commission to rule that the utility must continue buying back energy from rooftop solar installations if a state cap on the so-called "net metering" process is reached earlier than anticipated.
