China's Cofco Said to Hire ADM Executive to Head Noble Agri

The Beijing-based group hired Matthew Jansen as chief executive officer of Noble Agri, the venture Cofco formed after buying the agricultural arm of Hong Kong-based Noble Group Ltd., according to a person familiar with the appointment who asked not to be identified because the information isn't public. Archer-Daniels-Midland, or ADM, said on Tuesday that Jansen left the grain trader to "pursue an opportunity with another company."
