For Astrium in Bremen within the area Supply Quality for the department SE DM Quality Assur Inspection BRE we are looking for a Supply Quality Engineer fm Electronic Systems and Equipment. This position will be based in Bremen and will require business trips. MPCV on which the development has started is predicted to be part of the next American manned mission to the moon. For this project, we will need an additional supply quality engineer for electronic systems and equipment. Based on the customer and company product assurance requirements for subcontractors, and in accordance with the agreed processes you will Ensure the compliance of suppliers to product assurance requirements Establish and apply a supplierproduct quality surveillance plan Check the conformity of the delivered product Handle product nonconformances The objectives are an agreed supplier product assurance plan, quality monitoring plans and the on quality delivery of products. Further tasks will include Contributing to supplier capability assessment and supplier approval when required Reviewing and approving the supplier product assurance plan, documents and standards Ensuring the appropriate implementation of product assurance requirements by the supplier and its lowertier suppliers Following up and supporting equipment development through your participation in development reviews, production checks and boards, establishing and initiating a quality surveillance plan Following up equipment production, performing and adapting the quality surveillance plan, checking the conformity of the delivered product using production controls and product acceptance Monitoring supply quality using metrics and KPIs, evaluating supplier quality performance Ensuring the correct handling of product anomalies and nonconformances Performing supplier reviews or audits Ensuring the implementation of risk mitigation actions by suppliers Contributing to supply quality improvement activities More specifically, in order to ensure MPCV success it will be necessary to focus not only on suppliers, but also to work closely with Astrium engineering and other Astrium functions We are looking for candidates with the following skills Engineering degree in electronics or similar, specialising in communicationpower electronics and some professional experience either in quality or engineering General experience with regards to the definition of requirements forassessment of flightworthiness would be a plus Knowledgeexperience in the fields of quality principles, quality standards regulations, supply quality and operations quality inspection Language skills negotiation level of English and German If you are interested in this position, please apply online via www.jobs.eads.com. JOB PURPOSE This role requires the maintenance, management and continual improvement of the CDE Quality Management System QMS in compliance to the requirements of ISO90012008 and specific requirements as defined within the European Corporation for Space Standardization ECSS standards KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ISO 9001 Certification Define and execute actions to maintain certification to ISO 90012008 certification and satisfy customer quality management system requirements Work with key stakeholders to map and document key processes Impart relevant training to instill and drive ISO 9001 awareness Work with external registrars to plan and execute onsite certificationManage Space electronics contracts in excess of 1m Governance and Continual Improvement Drive the culture of quality within the business by planning and conducting internal management system audits Provide effective management of the business project and process audits Ensure quality KPIs are set and achieved Responsible for CAPA process including ensuring continued adherence to process, tracking and completion of resulting actions and ongoing maintenance of associated procedures Schedule and manage the Management Review meetings with the Senior Management Team SMT including preparation and circulation of supporting materials, generating supporting minutes and documenting and communicating to all stakeholders any resulting actions, ensuring that these are delivered in line with agreed dates Deploy QMS activities for successful continual assessment audits and recertifications by registrars. DESIRED SKILLSEXPERIENCE Essential Minimum 5 years industrial experience in aerospace or space sector, with 3 years within QMS deployment Certified ISO 90012008 Lead Auditor Experienced in process mapping redesign Competent user of MS Office, Project and Visio Experience of working with crossfunctional teams Desirable Educated to degree level or equivalent Professional Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills written and verbal Excellent soft skills especially communication, influencing, people and relationship management Organizational awareness and sensitivity for cultural differences Excellent analytical abilities and ability to grasp key points from complicated details Result driven and a selfstarter with the ability to work to own initiative A team player and proven delivery record with experience of working with peers and senior management
