The vital measure to secure maximum investment into the Energy Estuary, with a massive focus on offshore wind energy, was one of eight extensions announced to the House of Commons Ahead of a Budget announcement with a statement that Britain was "walking tall again", and " growing faster than any other major advanced economy in the world, with more people with jobs in Britain than ever before," Mr Osborne said: "Humber Enterprise Zone is establishing itself as a hub for the offshore wind energy sector and has received more than A 290 million in investment from Siemens to develop wind turbine production operations. The Enterprise Zone estimates that expansion could create up to 150 jobs supporting supply chain companies."
