Housed in 2.39 x 1.54 x 0.50 in. quarter brick package, QSW DC-DC Converter offers wide 9–36 Vdc input range with isolated, precisely regulated 12 V output. Device achieves efficiency of 93% through use of synchronous rectification, advanced electronic circuitry, and thermal design. Operating from -40 to +100°C, converter features 2,250 Vdc input to output isolation and switching frequency of 275 kHz. QSW will operate from no load condition up to 12 A max output current.

Manufactured with BiCDMOS process, BD9E300EFJ-LB single-channel synchronous rectification step-down DC/DC converter features 40 V withstand voltage input with built-in power MOSFET for switching and output current of 2.5 A. Adoption of N-channel MOSFET at upper and lower sides promotes efficiency, and diode necessary for bootstrap for producing gate drive of upper-side N-channel MOSFET is also built in. Acceleration of switching action to 1 MHz enables use of compact inductor and capacitor.

RoHS-compliant unit has 9–36 Vdc input range; isolated, precisely regulated 12 V output; and input to output isolation of 2,250 Vdc. Switching frequency is 275 kHz, output voltage setpoint accuracy is ±1%, and output noise is 120 mV peak to peak. Able to operate from no-load condition up to max 20.5 A output current, converter offers line regulation of 0.2%.
