Optimizing throughput and minimizing latency for users concurrently working with multiple applications, BCM4359 enables devices to transmit and receive over 2 bands (5 and 2.4 GHz) simultaneously. Chip maximizes bandwidth at 867 Mbps PHY rate in 2-stream Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) mode and can switch to RSDB mode. As 1x1 5G Wi-Fi® combo chip with Bluetooth 4.1 and FM radio, BCM43455 supports 1x1 HT80 802.11ac, 2.5 and 5 GHz, and offers 433 Mbps PHY rate/80 MHz channel bandwidth.
