Certified according to ATEX and IECEx, Model IXA 648 is suited for hazardous applications where extreme conditions are common. Inductive absolute encoder avoids magnets and glass to provide measurement technology that can withstand shock and vibration. Rated for operation up to 6,000 rpm and 70°C, encoder is available with up to 31-bit multiturn resolution (19/12), and can communicate with control using PROFIBUS, PROFINET, CANopen, DeviceNet, SSI, or EnDat interface.
