Bayonne man's leg severed in UPS truck accident

A 40-year-old city man's leg was severed after he was struck by a car and pinned up against his United Parcel Service delivery truck in Staten Island on Monday, April 6, according to an online report. The man was badly injured a little after 9 a.m. on the 2000 block of Hylan Boulevard after he was hit by a Toyota Camry whose driver said he had swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian, according to a report on SILive.
