The Airbus A330-300's nose gear retracted slamming the aircraft on to the tarmac, tearing the entrance door off and mangling the airport gangway Passengers and crew had luck on their side after a plane that was set to travel from Singapore to Hong Kong collapsed onto the tarmac - just before they boarded. The Singapore Airlines flight was undergoing a landing gear system check at Changi Airport in Shanghai ahead of a scheduled departure.
