Calgon Carbon Corp. said it's poised to capture the growing market in mercury removal from power generation plants, a segment that could lead to tens of millions of dollars for the Pittsburgh-based environmental company. Calgon's big business is activated carbon and ultraviolet disinfection, which purifies drinking water and wastewater, among other uses.
