(Telecompaper) Canada's Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) has published its spectrum outlook for the coming five, from 2018 to 2022. The document considers licensing and auction matters, with an eye towards upcoming 5G services and rising demand for services in general. Regarding auctions, the one for 600 GHz has been scheduled for March 2019. For 3500 and 3800 MHz, an auction could happen in late 2020. For bands above 20 GHz, release of some frequencies could take place in late 2021.
