Canadian Pacific Railway eliminates grain car backlog

Canadian Pacific Railway says it has reduced a backlog of grain car orders, but BNSF Railway says it still has some late deliveries. Grain elevators in North Dakota for months have struggled to get the rail cars they need to move harvested crops to market, due to delays caused by increased shipments of oil and other products.
