Researchers at NREL, along with industry partners, are advancing a more sustainable energy future at the National Wind Technology Center by testing the most advanced wind turbine technologies and preparing them for future deployment. NREL entered into partnership with Alstom in early 2011 when its ECO 100 wind turbine was installed at NWTC for certification testing.
