Copernicus Sentinels AstroDynamics Test Validation Engineer 1623104 Job Description We are looking for a Copernicus Sentinels Test Validation Engineer for our client ESOC. You will be part of the Flight Dynamics Operations Sentinels team which supports routine and special operations. Your tasks will include Sentinels Flight Dynamics software exploitation, operation and maintenance including LEOP and deorbiting Support to Sentinels launch campaigns FD system tests, simulations to prepare and validate operational support Oncall, and eventually call in, support to support potential collision avoidance manoeuvres Generic flight dynamics support to other Sentinels Ground segment systems and teams FCT, SIM officer, ground stations, ... Required Skills and Experience Required background in mathematics, mechanics and dynamics Experience working with operational missions in Test and Validation area and in particular previous experience with CopernicusSentinels missions Ability to understand and accurately predict behaviour of complex systems Experience with operational training Familiarity with FD systems Familiarity with programmingscripting languages, its operation, exploitation and maintenance Familiarity with ESOC FD infrastructure software used for Sentinels Desirable Skills and Experience Experience in working in an operational environment Familiarity with FORTRAN programming language Familiarity with the ESOC working environment and Quality Management System QMS Experience with prelaunch activities and launch campaigns of satellites.
