End Mills come in cutting diameters from 0.625–1.500 in., while Shell mills, with varying pitch options, cut from 1.5–4 in. Helical roughing end mills are available in 1.0 and 1.25 in. diameters, and Utility cutters come in .75, 2, and 3 in. diameters. Maximum depth of cut for 12 mm inserts is 0.430 in.
