The job holder will conduct EGNSS service operations activities, from the Agency GNSS Service Centre, and contribute to infrastructure management activities led by the Agency in its role of EGNSS Exploitation Manager. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The jobholder will have the following tasks and responsibilities Manage the operations of EGNSS data distribution services delivered by the Agency and ensure that those services are delivered according to their specifications Define and maintain the operational documentation processes and procedures associated to the delivery of EGNSS data distribution services Analyse the user requests, and supervise the answers and helpdesk activities related to the services Establish a Key Performance Indicators monitoring system related to EGNSS data distribution services and ensure its continuous implementation and reporting Contribute to the Service business continuity plan of the Agency, including 247 on call duty responsibilities when required Contribute to the definition of EGNSS Data Service Definition Documents specifying the service characteristics and commitments towards users Analyse the user needs and participate in the service engineering processes striving for continuous improvement of EGNSS data distribution services Define technical specifications applicable to the design, development, production and maintenance of the service facilities, support the delivery of EGNSS data distribution services, review and verify their proper implementation and assess the acceptability of potential deviations to such requirements with respect to the Agency objectives and service commitments Liaise with other departments, as well as with external partners such as the European Commission, the EGNSS Service ProvidersOperators, the products manufacturers and maintainers Support the Agency management as needed and take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service. Note Duties may evolve according to development of the Agencys structure and activities, and management decisions. The position is located at the Galileo Service Centre in Torrejn de Ardoz Madrid, Spain and may imply travelling to the Agencys headquarters and other locations in Europe.
