Dependability Safety Engineer

We are currently looking for a Dependability Safety Engineer to support our customer in France. Dependability Safety Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role you will be part of the EGNOS Product Assurance and Safety team in Toulouse. You will have the following responsibilities Contribute to establishing and implementing programmatic and technical dependability and safety assurance requirements Support the monitoring of the performance of the Contractors dependability and safety assurance programs Support to the concurrent design facility CDF studies by performing technical risk assessment and relevant dependability and safety analyses Support dependability and safety verification activities, including hazard closeout and disposition of related NCR, RFW and Critical Items Direct and control risk reduction processes and any necessary preventive and corrective actions Evaluate proposed concepts, designs and operations for compliance with defined dependability and safety requirements Support research and study activities in the fields of dependability and safety requirements, techniques, tools and integrated engineering process methodologies and risk management methods. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree or equivalent in aerospace engineering Several years experience in Product Assurance and Quality Assurance in the aerospace domain Knowledge of the ESA NCTS NonConformance Tracking System application Knowledge of Civil Aviation standards DO178. DO278, DO254 Knowledge and experience in the fields of Global Navigation Satellite Systems Knowledge in EASA CS and EC regulations for European Air Traffic Management Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
