(Telecompaper) UK operator EE, part of BT, has started replacing its IPTV offering, available with fixed broadband and phone packages, with a new service powered by an Apple TV 4K set-top-box. The move follows reports last year that Apple and BT started talks about a possible pay-TV cooperation deal. Existing EE broadband and certain mobile subscribers will now be able to add the Apple TV 4K box, including access to BT Sport, to their broadband package for GBP 15 per month.
