000 ABPZ20 KNHC 130502 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1000 PM PST Tue Nov 12 2019 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: A broad area of low pressure located several hundred miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Gradual development of this disturbance is possible over the next several days, and a tropical depression could form late this week while it moves slowly northward. However, upper-level winds are expected to become unfavorable for any further development of this system by late this weekend. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...20 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent. Showers and thunderstorms have increased this evening in association with an area of low pressure located over 1000 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Upper level winds are expected to be only marginally conducive for development of this system while it moves slowly westward over the next couple of days.
