000 ABPZ20 KNHC 160518 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 1000 PM PST Fri Nov 15 2019 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Raymond, located several hundred miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula. Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a small area of low pressure located several hundred miles south-southeast of Acapulco, Mexico, has continued to become better organized this evening. Recent satellite wind data indicate that the system is producing winds to near tropical storm force. Additional development of this disturbance is possible, and a tropical depression or storm could form later tonight or over the weekend while the system moves westward at around 10 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...70 percent. $$ Forecaster Brown
