Along with internal 8 GB DDR3 memory, PacketExpert 10G™ has two 10 Gbps optical ports and two 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical/optical ports capable of BERT, Smart Loopback, RFC 2544, Wirespeed Record and Playback, IP Link Simulation and Impairment Emulation (IPLinkSim™), and Y.1564 (ExpertSAM™) testing. GUI provides access to all functions, and CLI lets users access functionalities remotely via TCL or Python client and MAPS™ CLI Server. Loopback capability is standard on all ports.
