FHWA on hand as Trinity Industries' guardrails subjected to first day of testing

This pickup truck was crashed into an ET-Plus guardrail at a 15-degree angle as part of the first day of testing in San Antonio. The guardrails are sold by Dallas-based Trinity Industries, who has agreed to retest them after safety concerns have been raised across the U.S. Photo provided by Trinity Industries.
