FedEx delivers nonprofit relief supplies to Nepal

The first load of relief supplies was offloaded in Kathmandu before the chartered MD 11 returned to Dubai for the second load of 178,000 pounds of relief supplies. Friday night, FedEx Corp. supplied a chartered flight that delivered 15.3 million worth of relief supplies to Nepal to aid in recovery efforts after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake devastated the South Asian country April 25. FedEx worked with three nonprofit organizations to stage supplies and get them delivered as quickly as possible, said Jenny Robertson , FedEx director of global citizenship.
