LSE Space GmbH is looking for an experienced Ground Segment Operations Engineer mf to join at the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen near MunichGermany. The Ground Operations Team is responsible for the overall management of Galileo GCS Operations at both GCCD and GCCI sites and the execution of GCS prime operations and GMS backup operations at GCCD, including activities related to key management. Typical tasks will be Ops preparation Preparesupportexecute system, segment and element operation validation activities. This includes the definition of validation scenarios, plans or test cases and the procedure development and validation, testing, result reporting. Developreviewupdate Operations Plans and Operations Concept documents Ensuresupport databases preparation, coordination, synchronization and verification. Preparation of SCTC and simulation Ops planning and coordination Assist with the planning and coordination of GCS maintenance activities across both sites and GMS backup activities at GCCD. Provide planning inputs and execution feedback for Ground Operations activities Take over ground or secure operations positionduty on call support of routine, special and contingency operations during launch and routine phase, including the provision of shift for GCS, KMF and GMS Backup Operations according to KPI Provide support to ground segment users for preparation or execution operations activities. Monitor performance of ground services and trigger corrective actions Handle incidents and anomaly writing, processing, support of review boards according to KPI Preparesupportexecute software engineering activities maintenance, support, etc. Interface with ground segment external entities for data exchange and service outage troubleshooting Take over duty oncall to provide Ground Operations Support 247 this include GCS, KMF and GMS Backup Operations Support of training activities Ops development Qualifications and skills Experience in ground system operations engineering and execution, ILS or Maintenance Knowledge of navigation ground segment such as Egnos or Galileo Comfortable using Linux SelfLearner A Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering Good level of spoken and written English Good communication and negotiation skills Good analytical skills and high flexibility Start date 1st August 2017 Benefits A permanent employment contract.
