Supplied in 8-pin NSOIC packages, XR33032/5/8 are optimized to operate over 2.8–5.5 V supply range and suited for isolated applications where remote devices are powered through cable. Products tolerate voltage drop along cable resistance while maintaining compliant RS-485 output levels and performance. Drawing 300 µA typ when idling with receivers active, transceivers offer ±18 V fault tolerance for direct shorts to DC or AC, ±70 V transient protection, and exceed highest ESD rating of IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4.
