CCD technology enables terminals to read codes at 400 scans/sec. Handle and hand strap promote extended periods of use, while keypad, which includes 12 function keys, is arranged to allow operation with one hand or one thumb. Terminals can read codes, even those that are complicated or damaged, from as far away as 25 ft or more.
