Hog Outlook: Cash Receipts for Hogs Will Rise

US - According to farm income projections released this week by USDA, cash receipts for hogs will rise to $27.7 billion in 2014. This would mark a 20 per cent increase over last year, and leave industry receipts 89 per cent higher than they were as recently as 2009, write Ron Plain and Scott Brown.
