Hog Outlook: Pork Retail Price Fell in May

US - The average retail price of pork during May was $3.781 per pound. That is down 1.8 cents from the month before, but up 8.5 cents from a year earlier. Bacon prices were higher than last May, but chop and ham prices were lower, write Ron Plain and Scott Brown, Ag Economics, MU.
