At the end of the day on Monday, July 15, Dale Miller will turn out the lights and walk out of the door of his office and into retirement after just over 40 years on the National Hog Farmer magazine staff. While he has committed to continuing to oversee projects and write more of his well-targeted articles for our magazine as a contributing editor in the future, I have to admit that seeing his empty chair on Tuesday morning is not going to be easy.
