ATG is currently recruiting an Software Test Engineer our clients premises in the Stuttgart area Germany. The company specializes in integrating, verifying and qualifying large and complex ground segments. Client information Our client has designed, integrated, tested, operated and delivered innovative space systems. There satellites and payloads are recognized worldwide as benchmarks in delivering communications and navigation services, monitoring our environment and the oceans, better understanding climate change and supporting scientific research. Today, they are one of the main suppliers to the International Space Station, and a pivotal player in systems to explore our Universe. Job description The IVQ Engineer will be part of the team that is responsible to prove the qualification status of the Galileo Ground Mission Segment GMS and the Galileo Security Facility GSF towards the customer. Tasks and Responsibilities Generation of test procedures that fulfil the customer requirements Execution of tests witnessed by end customer Support the preparation of test reviews with the customer Identification and investigation of system anomalies Installation and configuration of software and hardware Ability to travel and spend periods located on Partner site in France necessary. Job requirements Degree in Engineering System Engineering, Computer Science, Proven experience of 35 years in design and development of medium and large hardware and software systems Previous experience in system integration and verification testing would be an advantage Network expertise for configuration, architecture and analysis in a Linux or LynxOS environment. TCPIP based protocols, firewall and switch configuration and management High competence in script development Java, Python... Experience in white and black box testing Virtualisation environment setup, modification and usage Team player, selfmotivated, autonomous working style Ability to assess the technical environment, identify problems and propose solutions.
